Play-Based Programs
PULLS
PULLS is Ultimate Impact’s flagship school-based program. Short for Place-Based Ultimate Learning and Leadership through Sports, PULLS offers structured play opportunities for elementary, middle, and high school students during the school day and after school. Using Ultimate Frisbee as a framework, PULLS fosters teamwork, conflict resolution skills, and social cohesion.
Girls and Co
Via a series of workshops with partner schools and organizations, the Girls and Co program centers female-matching and non-binary youth, giving them tools to grow as athletes and people. Designed to counteract the forces that can keep young women from participating in sports, Girls and Co offers space and time for girls and nonbinary youth to express themselves through physical activity and develop leadership skills in an inclusive space.
Summer Programming
Ultimate Impact offers a variety of school-based workshops and summer camps to bridge the gap between school years. In collaboration with our school and program partners, we offer weekly programming and one-off skill workshops at schools throughout Oakland and San Francisco. Additionally, we offer summer camps during the critical week between school-based summer programming and the start of the school year, giving youth a safe, fun place to spend the final week of summer.
