Play-Based Programs
PULLS
PULLS is Ultimate Impact’s flagship school-based program. Short for Place-Based Ultimate Learning and Leadership through Sports, PULLS offers structured play opportunities for elementary, middle, and high school students during the school day and after school. Using Ultimate Frisbee as a framework, PULLS fosters teamwork, conflict resolution skills, and social cohesion.
Girls & Co.
Via a series of workshops with partner schools and organizations, the Girls & Co. program centers female-matching and non-binary youth, giving them tools to grow as athletes and people. Designed to counteract the forces that can keep young women from participating in sports, Girls & Co. offers space and time for girls and nonbinary youth to express themselves through physical activity and develop leadership skills in an inclusive space.
Summer Programming
Ultimate Impact offers a variety of school-based workshops and summer camps to bridge the gap between school years. In collaboration with our school and program partners, we offer weekly programming and one-off skill workshops at sites throughout Oakland and San Francisco. Additionally, we offer summer camps during the critical week between school-based summer programming and the start of the academic year, giving youth a safe, fun place to spend the final week of summer.
